Nikos Chras is Director of Business Development at Mastercard, responsible for Payment Acceptance across Greece, Cyprus and Malta. With more than seven years of experience in the payments and e‑commerce ecosystem, he works closely with leading acquiring institutions and merchants to strengthen digital commerce performance and support innovation across the market.

Nikos specializes in acquiring strategy, payment acceptance optimization and the end‑to‑end enhancement of both physical and e‑commerce journeys. He has managed relationships with all major acquiring clients in the Greek market and has led key go‑to‑market initiatives that support merchants in improving the overall effectiveness of their acceptance channels.

Before his current role in Mastercard’s Core Business, Nikos worked within Mastercard Advisors, delivering consulting projects across the EU on digital strategy, product development and portfolio profitability.
